"American Pie" became the Moondoggies immediate hit!  Loved by millions..it is the #1 most requested rock song across all age brackets even today!   Admittedly there are those of THE LOST that hate it---some dislike the length (9.5 minutes) and others have been forced to suffer through other karaoke singers pathetic attempts--and alas it can be horrible....BUT THE MOONDOGGIE'S performance almost always brings the house DOWN!!! Even the most experienced KJ (Karaoke Jockeys) will tell MOONDOGGIE that its the best they've ever seen!!! Of course, that's relative...sooooo WHAT!!!

"THERE'S A MAN WHO LEADS A LIFE OF DANGER TO EVERYONE HE MEETS HE IS A STRANGER"......"Secret Agent Man" (aka SAM) another Moondoggie classic.  Moondoggie pulled this oldie from the Gidget karaoke list, a long long time ago....It remains a tribute to "Rubio" a chap of mysterious origin,background and occupation who has remained incognito in the Baja since many a year ago z (Rubio is a fictitious name for all the golden reasons)...

Originally a self proclaimed "author", Rubio was nicknamed "Hemmingway" by the La Fonda locals; only to discover that he was also a world traveler, BORN in several South American countries, lived in every super chic european metro; visited all the ones that weren't so chic. Rubio is a purveyour of fine art, jewels, music, furniture, real estate, automobiles, stocks, bonds---(James that is: James Bond!!!)  

Rubio is every girl's dream---tall, dark, handsome, rich, and sometimes even straight AND wait! there's more, he even  has  a cat named little "dickie"!!! Ladies he's the package your mama always wanted for you!!! But alas Rubio remains always aloof and mysterious....soooo SAM is Rubio  and Rubiois SAM!!!  And SAM is one of Moondoggie's all time crowd pleasers....GEE, I wonder why???

He perfected the performance, with fedora, trenchcoat, reflector shades and alas the infamous SHOE PHONE!!!

The Moondoggie is NOT what many people think.  In fact, its all tongue and cheek this karaoke charade!
